I chose this image because...- It has connotations with the setting, with the water from the lake.
- Character is used to illustate scary element of a creepy, supernatural like being rising out of the water.
- Hair covering face, not to reveal too much identity. Eyes staring directly at audience to engage with them and seem scary.

Finishing our filming
Due to finishing our filming on the 19th March, our group now had just over two weeks to put our shots together and edit them. We all arranged to meet in at least one free each day of the week to get the editing done. We all shared different opinions and ideas during the editing process and all worked together so that we would all be happy with the completed trailer.
Monday 19th March
Me, Jess and Millie aswell as Sam, Dan and Lauren who were other characters in our trailer, filmed the past scenes. These scenes involved the main characters brother drowing in the past whilst at the lake with friends. We had to do a few retakes with this scene as there were so many of us getting confused with our lines.

Wednesday 7th March
Me, Jess, Millie and Sophie filmed the lake scenes at the forest with us all alternating filming roles due to us all being involved in different scenes at different times. We managed to get most of the scenes done but still had a couple more scenes to film with different characters involved.

Thursday 1st March
Me, Jess and Millie aswell as Ryan, Oli, Scott and Nia, who were characters in our trailer filmed the 'friend' scenes. These scenes involved a party scene, where a group of friends are having a camping party by the lake. A scene where a teenage couple are sleeping in a tent and are woken by strange sounds and a scene where a young boy gets brutally killed by the suspicious being in the forest. We managed to get most of the filming done but had to leave some shots for another filming session due to it getting dark again.

(Paige was the Mother in our trailer) We filmed the kitchen scene, where the mother is busy doing chores and the daughter comes in to talk about how her friends are going back to the lake for a party and she doesn't know what to do. This scene took us about an hour to film due to retakes trying to get the scene right.

Me, and Jess filmed a few forest shots by the lake. We filmed the single shots of myself as the main character due to not many people being able to attend in order for us to film the shots where more people were involved in. We were able to get about 4 shots done, due to retakes and it getting dark early.

Tuesday 21st February
Our group filmed shots based in school for our trailer. We filmed the classroom scene, which myself, Jess and Millie acted out whilst Sophie filmed. We had a number of attempts at filming this scene as a few of us struggled with our lines and found it difficult getting the scene to look right.
